• Who is Baret Sarı? Could you tell us about yourself and CETAŞ?

It’s Baret SARI. I was 12 years old when I entered the industry. After my university graduation, I improved myself in the field of 3D drawing and design. I am currently responsible for the CETAŞ design department. CETAŞ is a well-established company with approximately 49 years of history. We sell various jewelry products at home and abroad. Mr. Cezo Taş, the founders of the company, founded this company in 1974. They start production in Istanbul Grand Bazaar.

CETAŞ is the first company to export jewelery products in Turkey. It is known as the first company to import jewelery products from Turkey to the world.

• Could you tell us about behind story of meet with Uniway technology?

CETAŞ’s transition to mass production was a major factor in its growth. Over time, Cetaş’s growth accelerated after it started to adapt technology to its own system.

At this level, the biggest factor in choosing the appropriate 3D printer was that there was no difference in product dimensions after coming out of the printer. This was very important to us. We pay special attention to this, especially in the lock systems we work with. Because if there was a reduction in the size of a product produced from a 3D printer, or a reduction in the size of a product that has been in stock for 3 months, the lock system would not work correctly and this would be a disadvantage for us.

While we were experiencing these and similar problems, we tried Uniway technology. Uniway was very good at this. That’s why we chose it. We did our tests and saw that it went very well.

We realized there was no problem. At the same time, cost was very important to us. We were able to print the products at an affordable price. The issue of speed is also really important. We can buy approximately 4 full platforms of product in a day.

It was also a good reference for us in terms of being started to work with. The fact that there is no change in the size of the products and there are no problems with the stone settings contributed to our choice of Uniway.

In other words, resin printing production within Cetaş covers 70-80% of ÇETAŞ’s production. One of the main reasons for these is that the products do not break and can be preserved for a long time. In this process, all our operators using Uniway are very satisfied.

I think they will be satisfied in the long run. Uniway’s after-sales technical services are also very fast. The team’s quick feedback is very satisfactory. A company that is also active in R&D studies. That’s why I think Uniway and CETAŞ will work for many years.
